* Heritage Day Fundraiser (December 31, 2010 - June 30, 2011) ─ If you want to participate, click here. *

The mission of the Amasa Historical Society is to bring to life "early-1900's-era Amasa" to the descendants of its original settlers, as well as visitors to the area. Displays of artifacts, pictures, and other memorabilia at the Amasa Historical Museum help portray the everyday life and culture of Amasa's early inhabitants. The Museum, pictured above, is the focal point of the Historical Society. Come and "experience" turn-of-the-twentieth-century living in our fair city.

An ongoing project, entitled "Amasa's Gems: Our Senior Residents", is a compilation of videotaped histories of our city's "precious gems". This project exemplifies the Society's efforts to save memories for future generations.

A newsletter is published regularly for all memberscurrent and formerof the Historical Society. Annual membership fees are $15.00 (single) or $20.00 (family).
