DONATIONS SOUGHT TO HELP MAINTAIN MUSEUM AND PAY UTILITY COSTS

   The Amasa Historical Society seeks donations to help maintain the Museum. Costs pertaining to maintenance of the building along with utility bills are a constant drain on Society funds. During the winter months, in order to preserve the Museum collection, the heat must be kept at a moderate temperature.

   All donations are tax deductable and we will promptly send you a receipt for your donation.

DO YOU HAVE ANY ITEMS YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE TO THE MUSEUM?

    The Amasa Historical Society is always looking for items to add to our Museum Collection. If you have anything relating to the history of Amasa or Hematite Township which you would like to donate, we ask that you mail the item to:

   Items relating to Amasa and Hematite Township or the surrounding area can include such things as: photos (be sure to identify the individuals or location), personal journals, letters written to and from residents of Amasa relating life and times, calendars, pottery, household, artifacts, commemorative items, signs, personal possessions passed on to you from an ancestor, school items: report cards-class records-teacher notes-anything relating to sport teams or individuals-any and all items relating to education/schools, business records, tax rolls, city/township/county government documents-records, mining records: pay stubs-mine records. The list goes on and on - we desire to collect and preserve, for future generations, all things relating and pertaining to the history of this area.
